PORTER

Eliza Jennings, a nationally recognized leader in person-centered care, is seeking a PT Dietary Porter, at its Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Community, located on the West-side of Cleveland.

Provide environmental cleaning services specifically in/for the dietary department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Which must be performed in order to carry out the position purpose summarized above (general representation of the key duties and responsibilities of this position; other duties may be assigned, as required):

• Conduct trash rounds; empty receptacles and address sanitation needs.
• Complete cleaning requests; daily, weekly, monthly and TBD to ensure a clean and safe living environment for residents and staff.
• Work closely with maintenance, nursing, aids, administration, kitchen staff and resident services in response to environmental matters.
• Effectively interact with residents; make small talk and acknowledge requests.
• Comply with dietary regulations.
• Mop, buff, and dust floors and hallways; clean and buff kitchen and dining room floors.
• Take trash to dumpster
• Put away stock when delivered and packages across campus.
• Unload and stock deliveries.
• Set up for events as directed.
• Assist Nursing with room moves. 
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
