Description

This is a PART-TIME, In-Office Position working afternoons/evenings and Saturday, 20 hours per week.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all SCCP’s IT resources, including all networks, servers, operating systems, applications, VPNs, keycard badges, BCDR devices, routers, and backup media. • Assist the HIT Vendor and IT Staff with ensuring that all systems are consistently operational with minimal downtime. • Assist the HIT Vendor and IT Staff with monitoring systems performance and addressing systems issues proactively. • Assist the HIT Vendor and IT Staff to ensure network connectivity, segmentation, and perimeter security, including firewall/switches configurations, setting up VPNs for remote access, and establishing access control lists. • Provide user access support for the company’s IT resources, including managing user accounts/permissions, and onboarding/offboarding employees. • Support proper upkeep of IT systems. • Provide timely technical support to staff across all department, business units, and programs. • Provide problem solving assistance on various software applications and hardware systems for SCCP employees. • Support the management and utilization of SCCP’s ticketing system for addressing IT issues. • Work to protect SCCP’ critical resources, such as databases, patient information, client data, and private employee information, from intrusion, inappropriate use, or unauthorized disclosure. • Support the implementation, monitoring, and auditing of SCCP’s IT-related internal controls, to ensure compliance with SCCP written policies, procedures, and processes. • Support the delivery of audit logs and reports required for SOC2 and HITRUST compliance. • Support SCCP’s Change Management Process in conjunction with the IT Team, HIT Vendor, and the Information Security Management Oversight Committee. • Support the company’s patch management program. • Support the company’s Risk Management Program. • Assist with the implementation of new technology projects with moderate scope and impact. • Work with the IT Team to ensure an accurate and up-to-date inventory/log of all SCCP IT resources/assets in compliance with SCCP policies. • Provide individual instruction and/or training to employees on new or updated technologies and policies. • Produce reports as required. • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale. 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  •   Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related IT experience.
  •   Specialty licensure/certification related to IT, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent experience.
  •   At least 2-years’ experience in IT support.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  •   Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, and hardware.
  •   Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance on systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.
  •   Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  •   Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware, software, and/or network solutions.
  •   Ability to communicate technical guidance and instruction to SCCP IT employees and contractors.
  •   Excellent verbal communication skills.
  •   Ability to interact with health care professionals in a professional manner.
  •   Computer Literate – Word, Google Doc, and Excel.
  •   Able to multi-task, manage time and set priorities.
  •   Able to remain coachable and teachable at all times.
