Part-Time & On-Call Opportunities for Physician Assistants and APRNs.

Clinic Hours:

•             Monday–Friday: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

•             Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

•             Holidays: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Performs medical services to patients under the supervision and direction of a licensed physician who is responsible for the performance of
the physician assistant. Performs related administrative and non-medical

patient care services as directed by supervising physician

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science degree and graduate of an AMA approved Physician's Assistant program required.

  • Current Certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and current PA licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska required.

  • Current BLS certification required.

ADVANCED PRACTICE RN

Provides medical services to patients in an ambulatory or a clinic setting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree in nursing with previous clinical experience in a health care setting required.

  • Licensed as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Nebraska required.

  • Psychiatry Clinic assignment: ANCC certification (or eligibility to take exam) as a Psychiatric mental health Nurse Practitioner required.

  • Experience using an electronic medical record required.

  • CPR certification required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a primary care/ambulatory care/urgent care preferred; for the

  • Same Day Pediatrics Clinic, minimum of three years of APRN experience in an ambulatory and/or urgent care preferred.

  • Other Duties: This job description incorporates the essential functions and duties required for this position. However, other duties may be required and assigned at times and as determined by a supervisor in order to meet the needs of the organization.

  • Serves as a role model in carrying out activities and behaviors that reflect the values and principles of the Boys Town mission.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, EQUIPMENT USAGE, WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Position is relatively sedentary in a normal office administrative environment involving minimum exposure to physical risks.  Will use office equipment such as a computer/laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a general workstation set-up. Requires up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
