Description

As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering top-tier automotive service.


What You'll do as a Automotive Mechanic:

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
  • Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and powertrains.
  • Service vehicles through oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and suspension repairs such as shocks and struts.
  • Repair or replace automotive components such as brake systems, air brakes (where applicable), and auto body parts.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to execute repairs with precision while adhering to safety standards.
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems effectively.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to customers or service advisors.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven mechanic experience with dealership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems.
  • Experience repairing diesel engines and working with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
  • Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive repair machinery.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignment, shocks & struts replacement.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately.
