Love Building Better Ways to Work?

Are you the person who sees a messy process and immediately starts thinking about how to make it more efficient?

Do you enjoy creating training programs, onboarding experiences, and resources that help employees succeed from day one?

If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you.

We are seeking an Instructional Design & Process Improvement Specialist who will play a key role in shaping how our organization trains, develops, and supports employees across multiple locations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys blending creativity, systems thinking, and operational excellence to create lasting organizational impact. This is not a role where you'll simply maintain existing programs. You'll have the opportunity to build, improve, and standardize training systems, onboarding experiences, and operational processes that directly influence employee success and organizational growth.

What You'll Be Doing

Create Exceptional Onboarding Experiences

  • Design and implement engaging onboarding programs that help new hires become confident and productive faster.
  • Develop role-specific training pathways that improve retention and employee success.
  • Create learning experiences that employees actually enjoy and remember.

Build Training Programs That Scale

  • Design training content for clinical and non-clinical teams.
  • Create SOPs, playbooks, job aids, videos, and learning materials.
  • Develop competency assessments and certification programs.
  • Transform best practices into repeatable, scalable learning solutions.

Drive Process Improvement

  • Evaluate existing workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with leaders to eliminate inefficiencies and streamline operations.
  • Develop systems and processes that improve consistency across locations.
  • Translate complex workflows into simple, practical solutions that teams can easily follow.

Become a Trusted Business Partner

  • Collaborate with leaders across departments to understand operational needs.
  • Build and maintain a centralized training and knowledge repository.
  • Help shape the future of how our organization learns, grows, and operates.

What Makes You Successful

You thrive in environments where you can build something better than what exists today.

You enjoy asking questions like:

  • "Why do we do it this way?"
  • "How can we make this easier?"
  • "What would help new employees succeed faster?"
  • "How can we create consistency without sacrificing quality?"

You're equally comfortable creating a training video, mapping a workflow, facilitating a training session, or collaborating with leadership on a strategic initiative.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design, training, onboarding, learning & development, or workforce development.
  • Strong process improvement and operational thinking skills.
  • Experience creating engaging learning materials, presentations, videos, and training content.
  • Experience with Articulate Rise 360 and related eLearning development tools.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into practical, easy-to-follow training resources.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS); Paylocity LMS experience is a plus.
  • Healthcare experience is helpful but not required.
