Assistant General Manager

At Buff City Soap, we make handcrafted, plant-based products that customers love. We're looking for an energetic and dependable Assistant General Manager who enjoys leading people, driving results, and creating a positive store environment.

What You'll Do
As Assistant General Manager, you'll partner with store leadership to ensure smooth daily operations while helping your team deliver outstanding customer service.
You'll:
- Support daily store operations and help drive sales performance
- Coach, train, and motivate team members to reach their potential
- Monitor key business metrics and help implement plans to achieve goals
- Assist with scheduling, inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling
- Create a welcoming, customer-focused environment
- Recognize team achievements and help foster a positive workplace culture
- Help ensure the store is clean, organized, and operating efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Previous retail, customer service, or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to lead by example
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Reliable, dependable, and customer-focused

Schedule & Physical Requirements
- Full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week)
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working around fragrances
