The Professional Liability Claims Adjuster role is an excellent opportunity for a law school graduate to apply their legal training in the insurance industry.

In this entry-level claim adjuster position, you will investigate and resolve Errors & Omissions (E&O) professional liability claims for architects, engineers, attorneys, healthcare providers, and other licensed professionals. Responsibilities include coverage analysis, liability evaluation, damages assessment, and settlement negotiation while managing a diverse and complex claim portfolio.

The position includes structured training and ongoing support to develop strong claims-handling and analytical skills. Successful candidates bring attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to interpret contracts, policy language, and professional standards of care.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy analyzing complex legal issues and developing practical, risk-balanced solutions that protect the company and its policyholders.

Requirements:
  • Juris doctorate from an accredited institution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and able to quickly learn claims management and case tracking systems.
