Own Enterprise Data Integration DeliveryĀ
- Oversee design and delivery of scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and related servicesĀ
- Ensure reliable ingestion, transformation, and distribution of enterprise data across domainsĀ
- Drive standardization of ingestion frameworks, reusable patterns, and metadata-driven pipelinesĀ
Engineer API-First SolutionsĀ
- Lead development and governance of enterprise API frameworks (REST, event-driven, microservices, APIM)Ā
- Define standards for API design, versioning, security, and lifecycle managementĀ
- Enable domain teams to consume and publish APIs through reusable and self-service modelsĀ
Advance AI-Driven Development PracticesĀ
- Promote use of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, DB Genie code, automated testing tools) to improve developer productivityĀ
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted code generation, documentation, and quality enforcementĀ
- IdentifyĀ opportunities to embed AI into integration workflows and API usage patternsĀ
Enable Platform ModernizationĀ
- Support transition from legacy integration patterns to modern Azure-based architecturesĀ
- Partner with platform engineering teams on CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure automationĀ
- Drive adoption of scalable, cloud-native integration patternsĀ
Ensure Operational ExcellenceĀ
- Own SLO/SLAĀ for data delivery, API performance, and system reliabilityĀ
- Implement monitoring, observability, and proactive issue resolution strategiesĀ
- Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvementĀ
Partner Across the EnterpriseĀ
- Collaborate with business, analytics, and product teams to align integration strategy with business prioritiesĀ
- Work with security and governance teams to ensure compliance and data protectionĀ
- Support vendor partnerships and external integrationsĀ
Ā
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (MasterāsĀ preferred)Ā
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure data services (ADF, Databricks, ADLS, Synapse, etc.)
- Deep understanding of API frameworks (REST, API Management, microservices, event-driven architecture)Ā
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and modern engineering toolchainsĀ Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and techniquesĀ
The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:
- Experience with healthcare or regulated industries (HIPAA, data governance)
- Exposure to knowledge graphs, FHIR/HL7 integration, or advanced data platforms
- Track recordĀ of driving platform simplification and standardizationĀ Ā
- Passion for automation, self-service enablement, and developer experienceĀ
