Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Department Support Assistant, you will serve as the heartbeat of our office operations, providing essential clerical and administrative support to our clinical teams at Alg Health-Immanuel Medical Center. You will act as the primary point of contact for our department, ensuring a seamless, welcoming, and professional environment for guests, employees, and patients alike. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to contribute to a collaborative, high-quality healthcare setting within the CommonSpirit Health network.

 

Every day you will manage a variety of front-desk and office coordination tasks, including operating a multi-line switchboard, scheduling conference rooms, and maintaining facility security procedures. You will be responsible for creating and editing professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentations while keeping our internal directories and procedure manuals up to date. By prioritizing exceptional customer service and effectively coordinating department resources, you will ensure our team has the administrative infrastructure needed to reach our business goals and maintain operational excellence.

 

To be successful in this role, you will possess a high school diploma or GED, with some undergraduate coursework preferred, and the ability to demonstrate professional communication skills in a fast-paced environment. You are a proactive problem-solver who can analyze data, manage multiple priorities, and take initiative when navigating change initiatives.
