Electronics Recycling Specialist

• $18.00/hour • Temp-to-Hire

About This Opportunity

Responsible for teardown, sorting, and processing of electronics (computers, laptops, servers) for recycling and resale. Focus on accuracy, safety, and environmental compliance.

Bonus Opportunity

$350 Attendance Bonus for perfect attendance during the first 30 days

Assignment Details

Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM

Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities

Disassemble electronics using hand/power tools
Sort and categorize components
Package, label, and track inventory
Perform quality checks on materials
Maintain clean work environment
Track and report productivity

Equipment, Tools, or Systems Used

Forklifts and warehouse equipment

Work Environment and Dress Code

Jeans/Work Pants (No Shorts)
Steel Toed Boots
T-shirt

Requirements

Experience with electronics disassembly or similar work
Knowledge of computer components and hardware
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or on a team
Reliable attendance
Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and perform physical work
Basic computer and math skills

Preferred Requirements

Forklift experience (training provided if needed)
Experience in recycling or warehouse environments

Physical Requirements

Standing/walking for long periods
Repetitive movements
Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
Working in varying temperatures and industrial environment
