Our organization is seeking qualified individuals in the field of maintenance. Qualified candidates must have a passion for working with the elderly and be committed to upholding our core values of Integrity, Dignity, Teamwork, and Compassion. The successful candidate will be capable of repairing equipment, diagnosing mechanical issues, troubleshooting electrical systems and up keeping our facilities. The ideal Maintenance Technician will have experience in the HVAC industry and be familiar with facility maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry and flooring.
As a Lead Maintenance Tech, you will:
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment, including pumps, valves, conveyors, and compressors.
- Perform a wide range of job roles, such as general maintenance, equipment repair, and building cleaning.
- Assist with projects that require a number of skills in various mechanical disciplines.
- Work under difficult conditions in physically challenging locations.
- Use tools such as wiring schematics, electrical meters, hand tools, and welding equipment to diagnose problems and make repairs.
- Repair drywall and paint as needed or at the direction of your supervisor
- Maintain building grounds, including lawn care, snow removal and general outdoor upkeep
- Perform maintenance tasks for all buildings, equipment and grounds including basic plumbing and electrical repair
- Cooperate to ensure that maintenance staff is on call 24 hours a day.
- Go above and beyond your assigned duties to help with any reasonable resident or teammate request
We require our Maintenance Leads to:
- Have prior experience in drywall repair, painting and general maintenance and have knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical repair, and use of grounds care equipment
- Be able to lift 75 pounds from ground to waist level and able to push or pull 100 pounds.
- Be able to fluently read, write, speak and understand English
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid in good standing driver鈥檚 license and pass background check
- Arrive on time and work as scheduled
- Able to Remove Snow in the Winter
- On Call Rotation for Maintenance
Fire Safety:
路聽聽 Schedule, conduct and record regular fire drills in accordance with state and federal regulations.
路聽聽 Conduct orientation of new employees in fire and safety procedures for the facility by providing tour of facility to point out location and use of fire and safety equipment, physically demonstrating safety equipment operation, and answering questions regarding fire and safety equipment.
Budget Responsibilities:
路聽聽 Understand purchasing system and budget impact and how to record purchases/expenses for routine maintenance needs of the facility.
