Job Summary:

Our client is looking for a skilled Forklift Operator. In this role, you’ll primarily operate a forklift to load, unload, and organize materials, but may also assist with moving trailers within the yard as needed. This is a temp-to-hire position.

Responsibilities:

· Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials

· Load and unload trailers and maintain accurate inventory counts

· Assist with moving trailers in the yard using a shag truck (as needed)

· Perform daily forklift and yard truck inspections

· Work with warehouse and shipping teams to prioritize tasks

· Maintain a clean and organized work area

· Follow all safety protocols and company policies

· Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements:

· 1+ years of forklift operating experience

· Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors

· Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

· Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

· Reliable transportation and good attendance record

· 1st shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday, with some overtime

· Willingness to work in either La Vista or Omaha

Preferred Qualifications:

· Yard truck / shag truck experience

· Experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing environments

· OSHA-certified forklift license
