What you will do:
- Safely operate an F550 or box truck for local deliveriesÂ
- Conduct pre-trip inspections, load and verify materials, and unload safely at job sitesÂ
- Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher and customersÂ
- Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and strictly adhere to all protocols, always wearing appropriate PPEÂ
- Inspect materials for condition and quantity before storingÂ
- Manage pick tickets with proper loading and secondary verificationÂ
- Notify Purchasing, Sales, and the Lead Warehouse Associate of unfilled orders or low inventory levelsÂ
What you will bring:
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- The ability to successfully obtain a DOT Medical Card during the first 30 days
- Experience operating a forklift
- Prior experience in direct customer interaction
- Effective communication skills with colleagues, vendors, and customers
- Adaptability to work in diverse environments, including adverse weather conditions, and to handle various building productsÂ
