As a rapidly growing, full-service real estate firm, we offer services in commercial property management, residential property management, association management, commercial sales & leasing, residential home sales, and business sales. Scope of Work 

  • Oversee and process company payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring all employee pay, deductions, reimbursements, and adjustments are completed appropriatelywhilemaintainingconfidentiality of payroll information.
  • Prepare and process IRA-related entries and other benefit-related accounting adjustments as needed.
  • Overseemaintenanceaccounting and tracking processes, including billable hour tracking,work orderreporting accuracy,credit cardreconciliations, and relatedaccountingprocesses to ensure efficiency andaccuratefinancial reporting.
  • Prepare and post journal entries including prepaid expenses, reclassifications, and other general accounting adjustments to ensureaccuratefinancial reporting.
  • Complete bank account, credit card, balance sheet, and property-level reconciliations ina timelyandaccuratemanner while researching and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Assistwithmaintainingaccurateproperty financials, including owner statement review, variance analysis, and reconciliation processes to supportaccuratereporting andcashmanagement.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial data, reconciliations, reporting, and collaboration with leadership and external partners.
  • Support budgeting processes by developing an understanding of company and property financial performance and providing feedback, analysis, and recommendations asappropriate.
  • Assist with CAM reconciliations and related financial reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper reporting.
  • Assistwith commission payment processes and develop an understanding of agent accounting.
  • Assistwith audits, tax preparation, and external reporting requests by gathering documentation,maintainingretention practices, preparing reports, and communicating with external partners as needed.
  • Be present, engaged, and active in all company events, initiatives, and community involvement opportunities.
  • Maintain and follow established accounting controls,andinternal procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, consistency, and protection of company and client financial information.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 5 years ofexperiencegeneral ledger accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Ability tomaintainconfidentiality, sensitivity, and professionalism.
  • Above-average written and verbal communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-disciplined, motivated, anddetail-oriented.
  • Maintainproficiencyin company software systems and accounting platforms.
  • Experience with AppFolio strongly preferred.
