Staff Pharmacist

Description

Summary: Review prescriptions, compounds and dispenses prescribed drugs per physician’s instructions. Manages a high volume of prescriptions, order fulfillment, data entry and shipping. Ensure all required pharmacy data is recorded and maintained and complies with all regulatory procedures.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation and compounding of products 
• Maintaining the pharmacy work environment to USP 795 requirements 
• Inventory management and storage 
• Complete appropriate documentation 
• Other duties as assigned 

Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role has supervisory responsibilities to on site staff 

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working as a Compounding Pharmacist 
• State licensed Pharmacist and in good standing 
• Strong knowledge of all relevant USP compounding guidelines 
• Knowledge of state laws regulating pharmaceutical compounding practices 
• High proficiency in computer usage 
• Strong knowledge of product preparation, compounding, packaging and labeling, etc.
