Role and Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Recruiter supports the organization's Human Resources practices and objectives by fostering an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and development of a superior workforce.

 

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate and implement recruiting initiatives.
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Oversee and respond to hiring-related and new hire questions or concerns.
  • Ensure applicants move quickly and efficiently through the background screening process while meeting all specified deadlines.
  • Maintain daily communication updates with applicants and the leadership team regarding applicant status and progress.
  • Review and pre-screen applicants, including:
    • Discussing position requirements.
    • Reviewing pay, schedules, and program expectations.
    • Issuing and reviewing initial assessments for pre-screening purposes.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with Human Resources.
  • Identify qualified candidates to fill open positions by building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline that meets or exceeds hiring goals before advancing candidates to the next stage.
  • Provide general information regarding employee benefits and assist with basic enrollment-related questions.
  • Complete additional projects and duties as assigned.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various departments and foster teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all Human Resources matters.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Enjoys working with people and building community partnerships to support recruiting and hiring efforts.

 

This position requires working onsite in our center and is a day shift role scheduled Monday through Friday from 10:00AM-7:00PM, with weekend work as needed. We offer garage parking, an on-site gym, and many additional employee amenities and benefits.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
  • College-accredited diploma or SHRM certification is preferred.

  • Previous recruiting experience is required.
