About This Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve production equipment and facility systems. This role supports manufacturing operations by performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. 

Bonus Opportunity

• $350 Attendance Bonus for perfect attendance during the first 30 days 

Assignment Details

Pay: $28.70/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30AM to 3:00PM

Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire

• Client Interview Required

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment. 
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems. 
• Diagnose equipment failures using measuring and testing instruments. 
• Reduce downtime through timely repairs and maintenance activities. 
• Maintain PM schedules and maintenance records. 
• Assist with equipment rebuilds and engineering projects. 
• Complete equipment changeovers as needed. 
• Support machine setup and startup activities. 
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment. 
• Follow all safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Strong troubleshooting experience in: 
• Electrical systems:    
•        Pneumatics 
•        Hydraulics 
•        Plumbing 
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and plumbing schematics. 
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, drives, and industrial hardware. 
• Welding and metal fabrication experience. 
• Ability to safely operate machinery. 
• Ability to use tape measures, measurements, fractions, and basic math. 
• Strong attendance and reliability. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirement

• Heavy industrial work environment. 
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and move materials exceeding 100 lbs. 
• Frequent standing, walking, crouching, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders. 
• Constant use of hands and repetitive motions. 
• Exposure to: 
  • Hot and cold temperatures 
  • Noise 
  • Dust 
  • Moving machinery 
  • Fumes and chemicals 
  • Indoor and outdoor conditions.
