Job Description

Our next cohort of Infant/Toddler Montessori Certification is approaching, and we are looking for infant teachers who want to become certified Infant/Toddler Montessori lead teachers.  We offer attractive financial incentives to obtain this internationally recognized credential as well as a career path to include a paid, teaching practicum while you are pursuing Montessori certification.

 

Associate in Training Responsibilities

  • Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers;
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy;
  • Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed;
  • Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment;
  • Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students.
  • Enroll in the Montessori Certification cohort starting (Infant/Toddler - birth to three)

 

Basic Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum Requirements: CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development)
