Shipping & Receiving Associate – 1st Shift
Position Type: Full-Time
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our foam manufacturing team. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Unload and load trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Prepare, package, and stage customer orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and inventory control activities.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to meet customer deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer and inventory system experience is a plus.
Pay & Benefits
- Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour
- Pay increase after 30 days based on good attendance and performance
