POSITION: Floor Maintenance Associate (Housekeeping)

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Key / Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO: Floor Maintenance Supervisor/Maintenance Manager

Summary of Position: To clean all areas of the Casino assuring a clean, safe environment for guests and team members; Responsible for a high level of customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older upon employment.

Must have a high school diploma or be pursuing a GED.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Main Floor:

Keep carpeted area clean and free of debris, using carpet sweeper or vacuum.

Keep all ashtrays clean and free of cigarette butts and other garbage.

Clean all gaming machines on a continuing basis, as customers leave using glass cleaner and white towels.

Clean gaming machine pedestals and chairs.

Remove trash from the casino floor.

Clean up any spills that occur.

Restroom:

Keep floor dry and free of debris.

Keep mirrors and counters clean and dry.

Refill paper towel, toilet paper, soap and hand cream dispensers.

Other duties deemed necessary.

Physical Demands:

Must attend Mandatory Training

Must be flexible

Must be able to lift up to and over 25 lbs.

Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time

Must be able to handle conflict situations

Must be able to use commercial cleaning solvents and chemicals

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Employee will be exposed to second-hand smoke-filled environment.
