Nye Auto is looking for an Auto Detail Specialist to join our winning team at the Ford Detail Department!

Responsibilities:

• Wash exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions
• Wax and buff vehicles using cloths and machines
• Vacuum the inside of vehicles, removing dirt and debris from all upholstery & surfaces
• Use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains.
• Use different dyes, cleaning, and removing grease from engines and engine compartments. 
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must possess technical knowledge and skill in auto detailing.
• Attention to detail and meticulous cleaning for customer satisfaction.
• 2 years of detailing experience preferred but not required.
• Buffing and touch-up are required skills.
• Must be able to effectively operate basic mechanical equipment.
• Good time management skills, including the ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Use and comply with all safety rules in all aspects of the position
• Ability to take direction from the Department Manager.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate work functions.
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Must be able to be on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
• An applicant must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must have a valid and clean Driver’s License.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Details: 

 Job Type: Full-time Hourly

Pay: $16 - $18 per hour plus monthly bonus based on performance

Schedule: 8 am - 5 pm - 8-hour shift

Workweek: Monday thru Friday with possible 1-2 Saturdays per month

Work Location: In person
