Electrical Panel Assembler

Hobart, WI | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

EMT International is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Panel Assembler to join our Panel Shop team. This role is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels used in printing and finishing equipment. If you enjoy hands-on electrical work, reading schematics, and building high-quality equipment, we’d love to hear from you. 

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble and wire industrial electrical control panels from schematics and engineering drawings
  • Mount electrical components including relays, PLCs, drives, breakers, terminals, sensors, and power supplies
  • Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, labeling, and wire termination
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and bills of materials
  • Inspect and test completed panels to ensure quality and functionality
  • Troubleshoot wiring and assembly issues as needed
  • Maintain accurate assembly documentation and follow work instructions
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment 

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Technical degree or electrical training preferred
  • 1–2 years of electrical panel assembly experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills preferred
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Epicor, SAP, or Oracle is a plus
