Your Role at KIK

A Forklift Driver 2 is responsible for the safe and efficient unloading, inspection, storage, and movement of incoming raw materials and packaging supplies in our Receiving Department. This position plays a key role in supporting warehouse and production operations by ensuring all receipts are processed accurately in SAP, inventory is properly maintained, and materials are available to support production schedules. The ideal candidate will possess forklift experience, attention to detail, and working knowledge of SAP receiving transactions and inventory management processes.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Safely unload inbound shipments using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
  • Label, stage, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Maintain FIFO inventory practices where applicable.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, Quality, and Production teams to ensure timely material availability

  • Operate sit-down, stand-up, and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Transport raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete required checklists.
  • Follow all OSHA, company safety, and warehouse traffic procedures.
  • Process material receipts in SAP accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Create and update receiving transactions and inventory movements in SAP.
  • Verify purchase orders and material master information before receiving product.
  • Generate goods receipt documentation and maintain receiving records.
  • Assist in inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations using SAP.
  • Research and resolve receiving discrepancies and inventory variances.
  • Support warehouse reporting and inventory accuracy initiatives through SAP data entry and transaction processing.
  • Work closely with Purchasing and Customer Service teams to resolve receiving and inventory issues.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse, receiving, or forklift experience preferred.

  • Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

  • Experience using SAP for receiving, inventory transactions, and material movements preferred.

  • Strong understanding of purchase orders, goods receipts, inventory control, and warehouse processes.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or chemical production environment is preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $24.00 Per Hour. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including your relevant skills and experience.
