The Operations Manager leads SIS project development and execution while serving as a dealer‑facing customer service leader and owning all building, site, and facilities maintenance activities for the PDC.Â

This role ensures operational continuity, regulatory compliance, asset reliability, and service stability through disciplined facilities management, project execution, and daily operational leadership. The Operations Manager is expected to demonstrate strong business acumen in distribution operations and applied industrial engineering.Â

Facilities & Site Maintenance Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirementsÂ
• Manage preventative and corrective maintenance programsÂ
• Coordinate repairs, inspections, vendors, and capital workÂ
Business Acumen & Engineering Expectations:Â
• Strong understanding of distribution center cost driversÂ
• Evaluate service, complexity, facilities, and execution risk tradeoffsÂ
Â
Key Responsibilities:
• Continuous improvement, execution, go‑live, and stabilizationÂ
• Dealer‑facing communication and service recoveryÂ
• Daily operational execution and team leadershipÂ
• Warehouse storage efficiency and slotting optimizationÂ
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field of study
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience
- Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field of study
- Supervisory/Managerial experience in logistics, distribution, manufacturing or warehousing
- Previous experience working in a union environment
- Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor/build strong teams
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of LEAN manufacturing systems
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
