Waste Connections is looking for individuals who have a passion for customer service, career growth and share our #1 Value: Safety!  We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join the team at our location in Opa Locka hauling, in Opa Locka, FL.  

Monday-Friday starting at day shift typically working 8:00am to 5:00pm.  On top of competitive pay we offer a sales commission package, family benefits, 401k, and vacation.

Pay range? $18-$20/ hour DOE

POSITION SUMMARY:

Inside Sales position provides support to the Sales team including sales management. This position is responsible for responding to and gathering customer inquiries with respect to new service for temporary and permanent customers as well as closing and upgrading business opportunities.  This role will have responsibility in selling small temporary accounts via inbound/outbound phone calls and retain, support and help maintain existing customer base. On cancellation requests, the Inside Sales will utilize creative problem solving and negotiation skills, resolve customer issues to retain positive relationships with existing customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Inside Sales Representative you will field a high volume of calls, emails, and provide excellent customer service, along with negotiating contracts. We are looking for someone that is high energy and focused on providing excellent customer service. Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of Customer Service Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Type 40+ WPM
  • Salesforce software experience is a plus
