Summary/Objective

 

 We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Center Technician to join our dynamic team. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work both in our state-of-the-art tuning bays and trackside in pit lane, supporting a diverse range of high-performance racecars and streetcars. The Service Center Technician will perform vehicle services, maintenance, and technical support while continuing to develop their skills in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. In addition to working in the tuning bays, the technician will partner with Circuit Control Associates to monitor vehicles on track and provide technical support during circuit operations. 


Roles & Job Responsibilities

  •  Carry out routine maintenance on fleet and member vehicles.
  •  Complete technical inspections for vehicles participating in circuit events.
  •  Diagnose vehicles issues and work with Service Center Technical Manager to develop a service plan.
  •  Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with shop guidelines.
  •  Park and retrieve cars, including street vehicle and circuit specific vehicles. 
  •  Greet and interact with members in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
  •  Offer guidance to members and assist them as requested.
  •  Aid drivers in vehicle ingress/egress process including driver gear, safety belts, window nets, mirror adjustments, aiding in a safe release, aiding in reversing, etc.
  •  Cooperate, assist, and communicate effectively with other team members in order to provide prompt service to the member(s).

Requirements


Skills & Qualification 

  •  Must have the ability to get in and out of fully caged racecars and otherwise difficult entry vehicles
  •  Experience in diagnosing vehicle issues
  •  Previous experience in racing or high-performance vehicle shops preferred. 
  •  Possess excellent mechanical knowledge and diverse driving skills, including manual transmissions, dual-clutch, sequential, non-synchronized transmissions, and others
  •  Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  •  Ability to verbally communicate professionally and effectively
  •  Must be willing to work variable schedules, evenings, weekends, and work in all types of weather
  •  Must be 18 years of age or older 
  •  The ideal candidate has skills of both a concierge and a corner marshal 
  •  Must be proficient with technological systems
  •  Bilingual Preferred

Work Environment


This job is performed outdoors and experiences a high level of noise in the work environment. 


Physical Demands


Service Center Technician must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift, stoop, bend, reach, and carry 40+ pounds. 


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position. The candidate is expected to work an alternating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
