Position Overview:
Holley Performance Products is seeking a motivated and analytical Industrial Lean Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This position will assist with optimizing manufacturing processes, improving operational efficiency, improving ERP routings, addressing manufacturing variances, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across production lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in process design, data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and a hands-on approach to drive measurable results that align with Holley’s mission to deliver superior performance products for automotive enthusiasts.Â
This position will be based at a home manufacturing facility, but will require travel to additional Holley facilities to lead and assist with CI projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the evaluation and optimization of manufacturing processes, focusing on cost reduction, productivity improvement, and quality enhancement.
- Conduct time studies, workflow analyses, and capacity assessments to identify opportunities for process improvements. This addresses routing variances.Â
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Assist with layout design and equipment placement to optimize material flow and ensure workplace safety.
- Collect, analyze, and present data on production performance metrics, including cycle times, throughput, and labor utilization.
- Contribute to standard operating procedure (SOP) development and documentation.
- Participate in and lead continuous improvement projects, providing technical and analytical support to enhance process consistency and performance.
- Support cross-departmental projects that align with Holley’s values of creating the future, building together, engaging fearlessly, and living authentically.
Qualifications:
- Ability to travel up to 30%. (Typically fly out Monday, return Friday)
- 2+ years of Lean/OpEx/Continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing environment. Leadership, automotive, and machining experience preferred.
- Lean or other technical certification/degree preferred.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Able to quantify results and impact to the bottom line.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and data visualization tools (Power BI or similar preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to self-direct while effectively reporting progress on deliverables
- Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and a passion for innovation in alignment with Holley’s core values.
- Ability to work in industrial environments for extended periods.
