SUMMARY: The Bellman greets guests with a warm welcome at hotel entrance and provide services related to the transportation and storage of luggage and provide other guest services. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Load and unload luggage carts Tag and store luggage Escort guest to hotel rooms Drive hotel shuttle Provide an overview of guest room, hotel services and amenities Make deliveries to guest rooms Assist guest with room changes Maintain list/brochures of local attractions, transportation guides, churches, sports arenas, etc. Perform house attendant functions when staff shortages occur Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction Ensure overall guest satisfaction Perform other duties as requested by management QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written Must possess basic computer skills Must be able to respond to guest requests and business volume quickly and efficiently Legally be able to drive within the US (maintain a clean driving record) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Previous customer service experience required Previous hotel experience preferred COMPETENCIES: Quality--Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.
