Location: Club Challenge- Orange Park, FL Job Type: Full-Time (35–40 hours per week) Pay Rate: $17 per hour Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 403(b) Retirement Plan, Paid Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Holidays Schedule: Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends based on participant and program needs Position Overview Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Assistant to support the Club Challenge program. You will assist Activity Leaders in planning and implementing activities that promote independence, community inclusion, employment skills, and personal growth for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. What You'll Do Assist with person-centered activities and community outings. Support members in building independence and community involvement. Coordinate activities and maintain calendars. Maintain attendance, documentation, and confidentiality. Communicate with community partners and team members. Attend required meetings and training. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & QualificationsWhat We're Looking For Compassionate and patient Strong communication skills Organized and dependable Team-oriented Professional and detail-oriented Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities Valid Florida driver's license with a clean three-year driving record Ability to pass local and Level II background screenings Basic Microsoft Office skills Preferred Qualifications College coursework in Human Services, Social Work, Education, Business, or related field Experience facilitating community-based programs Physical Requirements Requires walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 40 pounds, and assisting individuals entering and exiting vehicles.
