About the Role:Â
Follows clearly detailed procedures in performing simple repetitive tasks in the same sequence. Responsibilities would include filing pre-coded documents in a chronological file, or operating office equipment, (e.g., mimeograph, photocopy, addressograph or mailing machine). This position uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence.Â
Perform audits as required to support GFE management. Recommends and implements property administration policy and procedure. Identifies government property issues and participates in developing solutions. Manage GFE reporting for all internal and external customers. Manage site operations and GFE asset control activities, including record creation, tagging, inventory coordination, excess identification, and disposition. Continuously improve the processes, procedures, and systems necessary for effective and efficient management of Government assets. Create and maintain a Government Furnished Property (GFP) list. Document material shortages or excesses via a Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR). Other duties may be assigned.
This position is a McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) position. The current hourly rate is $20.46 and is non-negotiable.What Makes a Successful Candidate:Â

Must haves:
Education:
High School diploma or GED; Vocational training commensurate with the Department of Labor functional description.
Experience:
At least two (2) years of warehouse experience, including performing inventory, staging, packing, storage, and shipping of electronic equipment and related material; operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment; and utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar-coding system for entry, identification, and tracking of material. Adequate experience performing the duties of the labor category as described in the Department of Labor functional description.
CONTRACT-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
Must hold a valid driver license and a Florida Class E license with no restrictions that are in conflict with Department of Transportation (DOT) or Navy Material Handling Equipment (MHE).Â
Must be able to lift and move material and equipment weighing up to 60 pounds and to sit, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to pass a Navy quality medical/physical required for forklift operation and have good hearing and eyesight.Â
US citizenship is required.Applicant must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a security clearance.
