Job DetailsJob Location: ORTHO OP - Orange Park, FL 32073Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) Coastal Orthopedics Join Our Team Coastal Orthopedics is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to join our growing orthopedic practice. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Position Summary The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations, maintaining imaging equipment, and providing excellent patient care while supporting physicians and clinical staff. Essential Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician orders and established protocols. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort. Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Follow radiation safety standards and maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines. Maintain and operate radiographic equipment, reporting any maintenance needs promptly. Upload and document imaging studies accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR). Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient care. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Assist with additional clinical duties as needed. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required. Current Georgia state radiologic license (or eligibility) required. Current BLS/CPR certification preferred. Previous orthopedic or outpatient imaging experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
