Job DetailsJob Location: Coastal Health Corporate - Orange Park, FL 32073Clinical Trainer Coastal Health Position Summary Coastal Health is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Clinical Trainer to support the development, onboarding, and ongoing education of our clinical team. The Clinical Trainer will play an important role in ensuring clinical staff are well-prepared to provide safe, effective, and high-quality patient care while following Coastal Health policies, procedures, and clinical standards. This position is ideal for a healthcare professional who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping others build confidence and competence in their clinical roles. Key Responsibilities Develop and provide training for new and existing clinical staff. Facilitate onboarding and clinical orientation for new employees. Provide hands-on instruction and education related to clinical procedures, workflows, equipment, and patient care standards. Assess staff competency and provide additional training or coaching when needed. Support ongoing education and professional development for clinical team members. Ensure training materials and clinical education remain current and consistent with Coastal Health policies and procedures. Work closely with clinical leadership and office managers to identify training needs and opportunities for improvement. Assist with maintaining competency documentation and required training records. Provide coaching and feedback in a supportive, professional manner. Help promote consistency in clinical practices across Coastal Health locations. Stay current with applicable clinical standards, regulations, and best practices. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other educational projects as needed. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a patient-centered approach at all times. Qualifications Current clinical license or certification appropriate to the position and scope of practice. Clinical healthcare experience, preferably in an ambulatory or outpatient setting. Previous experience training, mentoring, precepting, or educating healthcare staff preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to present information clearly to individuals and groups with varying levels of experience. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to provide constructive feedback and effectively assess clinical competency. Comfortable working collaboratively with clinical and administrative leadership. Ability to travel between Coastal Health locations as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing or delivering healthcare training programs. Experience with employee onboarding and clinical competency assessments. Experience working with medical assistants or other clinical support staff. Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, patient safety, and infection prevention practices.
