Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:

Incumbent is primarily responsible for scheduling patient clinic appointments for transplant and coordinating all the necessary information, documentation, and record keeping required for this process. Will also facilitate communication between Transplant Coordinators and patients. Provides reception coverage for the department.


What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products including Word and Excel
  • Minimum two years prior administrative office experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to appropriately deal with stressful situations and individuals while remaining calm and professional

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of healthcare insurance procedures
  • Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
