About the Role:
Rajal J Patel DDS PA is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice in Orange, NJ! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a patient-centered environment where your expertise and care make a real difference in people's smiles every day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures for patients
- Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal evaluations
- Take and review dental X-rays and document findings in patient records
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Screen patients for oral cancer, gum disease, and other dental conditions
- Apply sealants, fluoride treatments, and other preventive therapies
- Collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized patient treatment plans
Requirements:
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of New Jersey
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with dental practice management software preferred
- Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care
- Excellent chairside manner with the ability to put patients at ease
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
