Our Host are relied on to provide memorable, thoughtful experiences through engaging with our guests, preparing delicious Zinc beverages, serving Zinc foods with a smile and anticipating the needs of each guest that visits us. They must work well within a team, thrive in a busy environment, while constantly striving to make every guest feel at home.

Responsibilities:

Team Member responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Welcome and connect with every guest, provide friendly and personable service
• Create an initial positive Zinc Guest Experience with accurate wait quotes and full engagement
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
• Learn and maintain knowledge of all our menus & products and demonstrate knowledge of dietary/allergy information and proper food handling
• Operate a POS register to complete customer transactions
• Accommodate requests from seated guests
• Promptly clean tabletops, seating and floors after each guest
• Deliver food/drinks to seated guests
• Ensure food and beverage quality and order accuracy prior to serving
• Communicate with kitchen to ensure all orders and requests are filled
• Communicate with managers on duty throughout your shift
• Ensuring all areas around work station are clean
• Handle varying levels of business volume with composure & a positive attitude
• Perform all opening and closing duties assigned by managers
• Maintain customer privacy, behave with open-mindedness and cultural sensitivity
• Follow all safety and state guidelines for preventing transmission of Covid-19 and other illnesses

• Fluent in English
• Food handlers certification
• Work Authorization: United States Citizen or Undocumented Noncitizen authorized to work in the United States

Work Context:

• Working with hot foods and beverages
• Walking and standing for long periods of time
• Tasks will be performed using and in the proximity of coolers, stoves, and other hot equipment
• The employee may frequently be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch for duration of shift (eight hours or longer)
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move and/or push up to 50 pounds without assistance
