PreOp Transporter within the Surgical Services Department at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Of Orange in Orange, CA. Â This is a Part-Time position that will work 8-hour Day shifts. Â The shift for this position will start at 5:30am.
Under the immediate supervision of the Lead Support Technician and the general direction of the Clinical Coordinator or Charge Nurse, the Support Tech provides ancillary services in the Operating Room. Â The three major responsibilities consist of the following: Â 1) ensuring the availability of well-functioning equipment for every surgical case, 2) assisting nursing personnel in room set up & turnover and in selected patient support services such as turning, lifting, and transporting patients, and 3) maintaining a safe and clean work environment in the O.R. suites and peripheral areas.
