Job DetailsJob Location: Orange, VA 22960Maintenance Staff - Painter Maintain the appearance and upkeep of facility grounds, including mowing, trimming shrubs, mulching, weeding flowerbeds, planting seasonal flowers and shrubs, sweeping walkways, assisting with snow and ice removal, and removing trash as needed.    Maintain resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and offices by painting, repairing and replacing ceiling tiles, and repairing or replacing flooring as required.    Perform basic repairs to facility equipment and systems, including plumbing fixtures, pumps, engines, and motors.    Inspect, clean, and maintain individual heating and air conditioning units, including changing filters and performing minor repairs.    Inspect and maintain lighting fixtures, including changing bulbs, cleaning fixtures, installation, removal, relocation, and minor electrical repairs as needed.    Assist the Housekeeping Department with moving furniture and completing related tasks when requested.    Coordinate with mechanics and the Director of Maintenance to provide support and assistance as needed.    Assist mechanics or outside service personnel in performing repair or maintenance work as needed.    Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold Residents’ Rights, treating all residents with kindness, dignity, and respect.    Maintain confidentiality regarding facility policies, procedures, personnel matters, and other sensitive information, sharing only what is necessary to complete assigned duties.  ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:  Maintain organization and cleanliness of the maintenance shop, including cleaning, lubricating, and storing tools and equipment, sweeping floors, and removing trash.    Assist outside contractors and vendors by clearing work areas, removing debris, and returning furniture and equipment to their proper placement once work is completed    Inspect facility fire extinguishers to ensure they are in proper working condition and report deficiencies.    Notify the Director of Maintenance of necessary supplies and equipment, and help maintain adequate inventory levels.    Use a facility or personal vehicle to pick up and deliver parts and supplies needed to support maintenance operations.    Perform other related duties as assigned or requested to support facility maintenance need Qualifications
