Job Summary
We’re looking for a Maintenance Specialist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This hands-on position is critical to minimizing downtime and keeping manufacturing equipment running at peak performance.

Shift: 4th shift, Monday-Friday 7:00am-7:00pm
Union: This position is represented by Local 475.
Starting Rate:Â $32.31/hr
Training: New hires must be available to train on 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00a-3:00p for a minimum of 90 days before transitioning to their regularly assigned shift.Â

What You’ll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, pumps, furnaces, vacuum systems, and related equipment
- Complete equipment overhauls, repairs, inspections, and daily maintenance checks
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC system issues
- Maintain and repair plumbing, dust collection, and building systems
- Support heat treat equipment operation, maintenance, and repairs
- Perform welding and brazing repairs as needed
- Read and work from sketches, schematics, and equipment prints
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipment as required
- Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all quality, safety, environmental, and company standards

What We’re Looking For
- Experience performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, sketches, and technical drawings
- Working knowledge of:
- Plumbing systems
- HVAC systems
- Electrical power and controls
- Gas furnaces and heat-treat equipment
- Vacuum systems
- Dust collection systems
- Carpentry and painting
- Welding and brazing experience
- Understanding of industrial equipment maintenance and repair principles
- Forklift experience preferred
- Comfortable operating a scissor lift
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Nice to Have
- Experience maintaining heat-treat or vacuum furnace equipment
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
- Manufacturing maintenance certifications or vocational training
- Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, moving equipment, noise, fumes, and varying temperatures
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and reaching throughout the shift
- Ability to regularly lift and move materials up to 30 pounds
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipment
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
