Job Description

Answer incoming telephone calls to all department areas and provides assistance to caller.

As available, transports patients to appropriate destinations

Assist Supervisors and Managers in monitoring the completeness and accuracy registration data collected prior to service as well as point of services collections and patient satisfaction

Attends meetings as designated by Direct Supervisor or Patient Access Manager.

Performs other miscellaneous and related duties as assigned or requested by immediate Direct Supervisor or Patient Access Manager

Additional Job Description

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; or a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two years of work experience in a Medical Office, Call Center, and/or customer service business environment and a minimum of 6 months satisfactory work experience in MUHA Patient Access, or at least 6 months of medical related work experience is required.
