Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Quality Engineering Co-Op (Fall 2026) located in our Orangeburg, SC site.

Reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager, the student will assist the Quality Team with projects impacting yields, performance and supporting Quality Systems, Suppliers, Auditing, Manufacturing, Mass Production and NPI.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining quality standards across production, operations, or service processes
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and tests on materials, components, or finished products
  • Collect, organize, and analyze quality-related data to identify trends, defects, or improvement opportunities
  • Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities
  • Help update and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and audit reports
  • Provide general support to the Quality team on day-to-day tasks and special projects

Student qualities we’re seeking for this Co-Op assignment:

  • Rising Junior/Senior level students currently pursuing BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related major
  • Risk Analysis and Statistics coursework helpful
  • Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
  • Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication and leadership skills (will be speaking with suppliers and interacting with cross-functional teams)
  • Previous Quality related internship experience a plus!

Fall Co-Op Program Requirements:

  • Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for the Fall semester
  • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
  • 3.0 minimum GPA
