Position Summary As a Direct Service Professional (DSP), you’ll be an active part of our residential crisis programs supporting adults. Required Qualifications  Required Minimum of 6 months experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and displaying severe verbal and physical behaviors Availability to work every weekend Ability to work in one of the following locations in California: Shingle Springs, Orangevale, Rio Linda, & Elverta Availability to work one of the following shifts each week: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm (AM), 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm (PM), 10:00 pm - 6:00 am (NOC) Willingness to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 90-days of hire Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to lift, transfer, and assist individuals as needed Ability to perform physical aspects of residential care and crisis response Pre-Employment Requirements Valid and current auto insurance CA Driver's License High School Diploma Successful criminal background check Reference verification Education verification Immunization records Negative TB test
