Job Summary:Ā
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all Zion Mountain Ranch'sĀ facilities, equipment, and systems. This position involves performing routine and preventative maintenance, responding to repair requests, and troubleshooting various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. The Maintenance Technician will contribute to the comfort and safety of both employees and guests, ensuring that Zion Mountain RanchĀ operatesĀ smoothly and that its surroundings areĀ well-maintained.Ā

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ā
Perform general maintenance and repairs on cabins/lodge facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.Ā
Conduct routine inspections of lodge buildings and equipment,Ā identifyingĀ issues, and completing repairsĀ in a timely manner.Ā
Address maintenance requests from guests and employees efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and guest experience.Ā
AssistĀ with preventative maintenance tasks to avoid breakdowns and ensure the longevity of systems and equipment.Ā
Perform basic troubleshooting for appliances, heating and cooling systems, lighting, and other mechanical systems.Ā
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure the maintenance workshop is kept organized and clean.Ā
Respond to emergency maintenance calls promptly and perform necessary repairs or provide temporary solutions until a permanent fix is possible.Ā
Ensure safety standards are adhered to, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with OSHA regulations.Ā
AssistĀ withĀ maintainingĀ outdoor areas and grounds as needed, including minor landscaping, snow removal, and storm response.Ā
Maintain logs of maintenance and repair activities, including completed work orders and equipment serviced.Ā
Communicate regularly with the MaintenanceĀ Manager to report issues, request supplies, andĀ update onĀ progress.Ā
Support special projects or installations as required by the MaintenanceĀ Supervisor and MaintenanceĀ Manager.Ā

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Ā
High school diploma or equivalent required.Ā
2+ years of maintenance experience in a commercial, residential, or hospitality setting preferred.Ā
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.Ā
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.Ā
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ā
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.Ā
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.Ā
Valid driverās license.Ā
