Job Summary:Ā 

Ā 

This positionĀ is responsible forĀ washing dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand,Ā maintainingĀ kitchen work areas and equipment in clean conditions,Ā sweepingĀ and scrubbing floors, bussing tables, serving food, and sorting and removing trash.

Ā 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Ā Produce,Ā cleanĀ and sanitize pots,Ā dishesĀ and utensils inĀ a timelyĀ fashion manually or with dish machine.Ā 

  • Maintain proper use of dishĀ machineĀ by monitoring cleaning product levels and temperatures.Ā 

  • Store all items in their proper place.Ā 

  • Provide high quality service for guests and fellow employees with a friendly and cooperative attitude.Ā 

  • Maintain dish stations. Keep them clean and free of debris. Help with trash removal,Ā compostingĀ and recycling efforts.Ā 

  • Maintain kitchen floors, keepingĀ itĀ clean and dry.Ā 

  • Clean kitchen walls, equipment, and other areas, as assigned.Ā 

  • Know health department guidelinesĀ regardingĀ water temperature, slippery floors, knife handling, and proper use of machinery and equipment.Ā 

  • Working knowledge of all chemicals, proper uses,Ā appropriate quantities, and emergency procedures, as detailed on MSDS sheets.Ā 

  • May provide assistance with bussing tables, cleaning food court areas and lifting and storage of food.Ā

Work Location:Ā 

  • Due to the in-person nature of the hospitality business, this position is on-site. RV space with hook ups are available at no cost for employees, limited employee housing at no cost is available on-siteĀ and commuting fromĀ the local vicinity is also acceptable.Ā Ā 

  • Due to the nature of our business,Ā Zion Mountain RanchĀ is open every day. You must be prepared toĀ workĀ a schedule which may include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Ā 

  • Ability to follow Food and Beverage Manager and Lead Chef kitchen requirements.

  • Ability to get along well with people, be honest,Ā punctualĀ and reliable.Ā 

  • Ability to remain calm and friendly.Ā 

  • Ability to physically work as aĀ Kitchen and RestaurantĀ Staff member.Ā Ā Ā 

  • Ability to adapt to changing work conditions.Ā 

  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.Ā 

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.Ā
