Job DetailsJob Location: Etnyre - Oregon, IL 61061Salary Range: $16.75 - $21.01 Hourly Oregon, IL | $16.75 - $21.01 (based on relevant experience and qualifications) Seasonal Internship • 40 hours per week • No benefits   Etnyre International is a growing, family-owned manufacturer of road construction and maintenance equipment. We are hiring a Seasonal Environmental, Health and Safety Intern to support workplace safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.    What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out? This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience while collaborating with leaders across the organization.   What You Will Do: Assist with ergonomic assessments and improvement initiatives Support industrial hygiene sampling activities Conduct safety and environmental audits and help develop reports with corrective actions Assist with job hazard assessments and incident investigations Coordinate and support EHS-related projects and initiatives Participate in the company safety committee and department safety talks Assist with developing and delivering EHS training for employees Help promote safe work practices in compliance with federal, state, local, and company requirements Assist with maintaining safety records and documentation Support general oversight of Environmental, Health, and Safety activities across the organization QualificationsQualifications – What We Are Looking For: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities and changing environments Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook   Physical Requirements: Some bending and twisting are required.
