Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing under the guidance of engineers to validate changes and improvements.
  • Engage in product design reviews, offering technical feedback on designs and quality.
  • Collaborate across disciplines with team members to tackle complex engineering challenges.
  • Employ debugging, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Develop high-quality C/C+ software.
  • Conduct unit-level tests to ensure functionality and design integrity.
  • Create and maintain documentation to ensure comprehensive design specifications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency with common communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB) is desirable.
  • Familiarity with various sensor types, analog circuits, power supplies, and motor/control topologies.
  • Understanding brushed and brushless motors, control circuitry, and motor control software algorithms is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of firmware development.
  • Working familiarity with WIFI, Bluetooth, NFC, and other RF communication methods is a plus.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Altium, oscilloscopes, function generators, and other test equipment is preferred.
  • Experience with PCB prototyping, soldering, and assembly is a plus.

Education/Experience:
Minimum requirement: High School Diploma/GED and current enrollment in a college/university pursuing a degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
