What You'll Accomplish:
  • Own the Close Process: You will be the driving force behind our monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes for investment funds and joint ventures, ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant.
  • Elevate Our Systems: Go beyond the routine. You will evaluate and optimize our accounting practices, systems, and internal controls to build a scalable and efficient department tailored to the real estate industry.
  • Be a Trusted Advisor: Collaborate closely with internal leaders and external partners, including auditors and tax preparers, to provide critical financial reports and insights that guide business decisions.

Why You'll Love Working Here:
  • Strategic Impact: This isn't just a supporting role; you are a strategic advisor to the Controller and a key voice in financial planning and analysis.
  • Leadership & Ownership: You will have significant autonomy to lead processes, develop your team, and implement improvements that leave a lasting mark on the organization.
