Position Summary: 
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Specialist to join our team at our Orem headquarters. This role is responsible for reviewing electrical designs and bills of materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy, code compliance, and constructability before projects move into the field.
Essential Duties: 
As an Electrical Specialist, you will work closely with both field and office teams to resolve design questions, verify material selections, and help projects progress smoothly from design through installation. Your expertise will play a key role in ensuring that every design and material package is appropriate for the specific project.
Our team reviews and supports a variety of residential electrical projects, including:
- Main Panel Upgrades (MPUs)
- Solar PV systems
- Battery energy storage systems
- Trenching layouts
- Ground-mounted solar installations
Minimum Qualifications: 
- Minimum of 2 years of field electrical experience
- Strong understanding of electrical installation practices, electrical theory, and common electrical components
- Ability to review designs and identify potential installation or material issues
- Solar installation or design experience is preferred
- Some computer experience is necessary. Training provided
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
