US Synthetic has an immediate need for a Brady Mining CNC Finishing Operator located in Orem, UT. The Brady Mining CNC Finishing Operator will operate and maintain a computer numerical control (CNC) lathe/mill for the production of Brady Mining tools. Assemble and braze components, manufacture product to exact specifications and maintain production and training records. Perform continuous process improvements per company standard.

What You Will Do:
- Assemble and braze product to print and customer specifications
- Set up and run the CNC lathe/mill
- Inspect the finished product for compliance to specifications
- Change over the CNC tooling
- Troubleshoot CNC divergence from specification
- Perform continuous process improvements
- Report departmental performance measures
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED is required
- Immigration sponsorship not available for this role
Physical Demands:
- Stand for long periods of time - up to 10 hours
- Perform repetitive motions
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Full range of body motion (lifting, kneeling, squatting and twisting)
- Use of Safety Equipment (Safety glasses, Latex/nitrile gloves, Respirator, Steel-toed boots)

- CNC experience
- Minimum one year at US Synthetic
- Basic math skills
- Bonding experience
- Problem analysis and resolution
- Managing multiple priorities
- Setting-up and operating multiple types of equipment
- Ability to read and interpret drawing specifications
- Ability to set and achieve personal and team goalsÂ
- Systems and continuous improvement orientation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- Programming experience
- Good background in Lean principles
- Willingness to keep work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations (5S)
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges and electronic indicators, etc.
