Job Summary
We’re looking to hire a hard-working Janitor who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. You’ll be responsible for all cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms, and carpet extraction, in addition to maintenance tasks such as emptying trash. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of hallways, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, Scrubb and to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and shine
- Handle janitorial duties including vacuum entrances , dusting, window cleaning, remove trash and sanitizing surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Maintain cleaning tasks including equipment, machines and janitorial closet organizerÂ
- Assist with custodial responsibilities related to facilities maintenance, ensuring all areas are safe and functional for daytime operations
- Follow safety protocols and use proper cleaning chemicals to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Supply restrooms, SOW special tasksÂ
- Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the operation manager of major repairs
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment (Training available)
- Excellent stamina and physical health
- Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
