Automotive Service Technician

Ken Garff Nissan of Orem, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is currently looking for an Automotive Service Technician that aligns with our core values and acts with respect, integrity, growth, humility and teamwork. The position includes a $3,000 hiring bonus and participation in the PRO TECH reward and recognition system which offers regular rewards for performance and tenure, predictable pay raises, efficiency bonuses, quarterly tool allowance and discounts. The ideal candidate is accommodating, analytical, produces highly precise and accurate work, is resourceful, seeks a high level of technical expertise, and is unselfish and approachable with a preference for detailed, skill-based work. Prior automotive technician experience and ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications are highly preferred. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, being 18 years or older, authorized to work in the U.S., and possessing a valid in-state driver's license with a good driving record. Responsibilities include performing efficient and expert work on repair orders according to dealership, state and factory standards, addressing customers’ primary concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to meet 'Fixed First Visit' expectations, performing the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection with video on every vehicle, mastering the Dealer Management System for work distribution and communication, completing required training, and maintaining cleanliness in the workspace and customer vehicles.
